Created by Akira Toriyama, Dragon Ball follows the adventures of Son Goku from his childhood quest for the mystical Dragon Balls to his later battles as a powerful martial artist. Blending action, humour, and fantasy, the series introduced many of anime’s most recognisable characters and fight sequences. Its mix of martial arts, comedy, and high-stakes drama made it a global phenomenon, spawning Dragon Ball Z, Super, and a wide range of detailed model kits.
