Kyoukai Senki

Kyoukai Senki (also known as AMAIM Warrior at the Borderline) is a modern real-robot series set in a near-future Japan divided and occupied by foreign powers. It follows young mechanic Amou Shiiba, who discovers and pilots the autonomous mecha AMAIM Kenbu to fight for his country’s freedom. The series combines contemporary political themes with dynamic mecha action and distinctive mechanical designs by Ken Okuyama. Its grounded tone and accessible storytelling make it a fresh addition to the real-robot tradition.
